삶이란 선물이다

많은 사람들이 당신의 삶을 스쳐지나갑니다
그러나 진정한 친구들만이
당신의 마음속에 발자국을 남기지요.

스스로를 조절하려면
당신의 머리를 사용해야 하고
다른이를 조절하려면
당신의 마음을 사용해야 하지요.

노여움(anger) 이란 위험(D-anger)에서
한글자가 빠진 것입니다.
누군가가 당신을 처음 배신했다면
그건 그의 과실이지만
그가 또다시 당신을 배신했다면
그땐 당신의 과실입니다.

커다란 마음으로 사건에 대해 토론하고
중간의 마음으로 사건에 대해 토론하며
작은 마음으로 사람에 대해 토론합니다.

돈을 잃은 자는 많은 것을 잃은 것이며
친구를 잃는 자는 더 많은 것을 잃은 것이며
신의를 잃은 자는 모든 것을 잃은 것 입니다.

아름다운 젊음은 우연한 자연의 현상이지만
아름다운 노년은 예술작품입니다.

어제는 역사이고
내일은 미스테리이며
오늘은 선물입니다.
